How to Write an Email that Gets Results!

By July 2, 2021No Comments

My dad (of blessed memory) used to say, “If you don’t ask, you don’t get.”

Best. Advice. Ever.

You need to ask.

Sometimes you can take full control of the action and next step and sometimes you just have to put the question out there.

Think of it like being at a dance. Those words, “Will you dance with me?” can change everything.

Getting results means you have a result in mind. You know what you want. You know what the next logical step should be. And you ask.

You never make the recipient of your email have to guess about who will do what, when?

You ask because if you don’t you may miss the dance of a lifetime!

BONUS

News flash: “I look forward to hearing from you” is not an ask!

Whenever, forever, you type those words, delete.

Looking forward is not going to get you on their dance card.

Looking forward is not ever a sales strategy!
